Show us your Cats, Kittens & Felines

Chased a squirrel up a tree while I was making lunch last week:

This dude has been ruining my sleep and free time since we got him 6 days ago! So easy to forget that puppies are like toddlers with really sharp teeth.

And I just realized this is a cat thread… Fine, here are some cats that live with us too:

The black cat is Deco. Short for decompression as we’re also scuba divers. He’s about 12 years old and super smart.
The multi color is Pushi which is cat in the native language of Bonaire :caribbean_netherlands: She’s a little over 2 years old. Smart and likes to agitate Deco.

Both were shelter cats and a great addition to our home.

Finally, a thread I am passionate about.

This is Mole Queen.

My furball who we said goodbye to a year ago, but this photo is too funny not to share.

Ahh man, looks like my Pushi girl. Sorry you had to say goodbye. Great photo though!!

This is Thorn. Thorn is not our cat but has adopted our deck for his early morning snooze before he heads over to our neighbour (not his owner) for his breakfast. We’re both allergic so he’s not allowed into our house but that doesn’t stop him trying to manipulate his way in!

Priceless :open_mouth: face

Thorn also put on a few covid pounds and whenever he features on my IG, he tends to be described as “chonky”

Deck cat!!!

 And I thought 2020 was hard on humans, LOL

My neighbour is feeding him diet food in an attempt to help get it under control!

We miss little Leo dearly, our time with him was way too brief. He was about 8 weeks and a bit undersized when we got him, but never developed as he should.

Our mate Deegan, shelter boy adopted after his original owner had to go into an aged care home and their family just abandoned him outside. He survived 6 months on his own before he was taken into the shelter. Very shy originally but he warmed up to us eventually
Deegan

As you can see he has now become very comfortable…

So beautiful!
Burmese?

My boy showed up basically feral and covered with fleas. He is the most amazingly tolerant soul. He got along with my old dog who hated everyone. And he patiently puts up with new brother, too. I feel so blessed to have him.

Great thread!

My wife and I are down to one cat currently. Since January we’ve had to say goodbye to two of the three we’ve had for about 15 years. It’s tough losing them, but they brought a lot of joy to our lives.

This is Sophie, the one still with us, a split second after sneezing. :joy:

She’s a good cat, but she thinks she runs the place now. And here are the other two, Linus and Ari:

This has me dying! :joy:

Glitch, who joined the family last winter:

The cat’s in the bag
