The cycling gods listened!!!
Damn shame that. ![]()
Cobrelli seems to be working, but MVP is doing more of the work.
Wout seems to have given up…he never looked to be struggling, but when MVP attacked with 65k to go, he was behind other riders and could never close the gap.
I don’t know how much credit I get to take for dumping maaaybe 1/3 of that coffee… But I’m taking all of it.

THE CYCLING GODS ARE REAL!!!
Moscon down…
Do you think they ride high tempo then put in bigger watts on the sectors (not an attack) or just keep the same pace throughout?
I think they’ll ride tempo to keep Moscon where he is for now…,unless WVA starts to get closer.
Gotta give credit to Moscon for not giving in….still riding hard and even slightly extending his meager lead.
Lol these motorbikes!

What. A. Race.
MVP has had his head hanging down for the last 10k…not a great sign.
And what a ride by Vermeersch. Wow…he has been in the front all day.
Maybe but he just kind of rides like that for whatever reason, at least when he’s racing MTB on the downhill sections
LOL….
Wow…what a race, what a finish. Congrats to Colbrelli…HUGE win.
And Vermeersch made it closer than I would have expected.
Just epic. A legendary edition.
Agreed - an epic Paris Roubaix, but I don’t understand either MVDP or especially Vermeersch’s tactics. Why with 10km or definitely 5km to go would you pull at all? Why wouldn’t you make Colbrelli do all of the work, given that if it is a sprint, he’s the odds on favorite?
Truly epic… so many thrills and spills! Was pulling for Moscon till it started to fall apart. I was really hoping for WvA but not sure it was his day.
Can anyone tell me which Trek bike Lizzy Deignan was riding. She was outstanding. And were any of the mens Specialized teams (Deuceunik, Bora) riders using a Roubaix? They seemed to have a lot of mechanicals and crashes.
