Wondering if anyone else here has returned to mountain biking after reverse shoulder replacement surgery.
I just had a reverse shoulder replacement surgery 4 weeks ago due to unrepairable rotator cuff tears. Doc gave me the ok to get back on the trainer, albeit 1 handed. Zwift is all I have for awhile but hoping to ride the MTB again after recovery. I’m 68 and have been mountain biking for about 30 years, road cycling as well but stopped riding on the road during covid because of the amount of people driving like nuts. Did some racing in my younger years but now only casual XC stuff. My wheels rarely get off the ground. i was off the bike in 2017 and 2019 for rotator cuff repairs, both for 6 months. I felt blessed being able to recover and get back on the trails. hoping for the same result this time.
TIA
