I walk my young Cocker Spaniel 3 times per day which push my training into the red, would it be better not to recorded these walks and stay in the training zone?
Firstly I don’t think walking should be impacting your training too much, how do you feel during your workouts? If you are completing sessions without issue I would not worry.
You could stop recording them but that won’t stop them from happening, tr just won’t know about them anymore.
You can also adjust the slider towards more aggressive if you are dealing well with the training and want to reduce the red days.
I’m assuming that since it’s pushing you into the red these are significant walks? Long time? High heart rate? If not, I’d write TR Support and find out if that’s truly the cause of the red.
Cockers are not long distant runners or sprinters. Puppies aside. I don’t think you should record these walks unless they are increasing your heart rate a lot. Such as hiking down and up from the beach at Fort Funston.
