Hi,
This Saturday (18.04.) I am gonna repeat below event from last year (4.5.2025 in my calendar)
So I copy it from the calendar and paste it on this Saturday (18.04.2026)
Two issues with that:
-
Duration and TSS of the copied event is way lower and therefore doesn’t reflect the effort I am about to put out. As last year if anything I was stronger than now I doubt this comes from some smart way of downscaling.
-
The whole reason I even tried copying the past event was my hope that todays workout in return would get tuned down maybe by type (threshold to SS or even endurance), by duration or PR or whatever, so on Saturday I’d have the freshest legs possible to sustain the ride.
But no - nothing at all.
Any ideas whats going wrong?
Hey @Slowwithouttwitch
Looks like you manually added a Group Ride? What steps did you take to Copy and Paste the Groud Ride?
The TSS is just an estimation of the 4 hour Group Ride you applied.
If you want the plan to adapt for this ride, I would set it as a B Event. Just note that if you are on a General Fitness plan, you will have to delete the current plan, apply an Event based plan with the original start date. More info here [click]
The alternative is to swap today’s the workout with a Workout Alternate so that you stay fresh for the group ride, and then schedule an opener like Laurel the day before. Then proceed with the plan as normal.
The second option may be best if you don’t have other events planned, as creating an Event/Race plan requires an A Event.
How to Add A, B, and C Events to Your Calendar
I right clicked last years event → copy and on next saturday in the calendar right click → paste (IIRC).
There shouldn’t be anything to estimate, as TSS and duration are known from that copied activity. Maybe thats a bug?
