When my trainer road workouts get pushed to my Garmin the power ranges specified get grouped.
And I’ve read about why this can happen during warmups and other efforts so I’m not coming in blind. But today’s workout structure made this less than ideal.
the workout was Teapot, and the two core sets were 10min long and structured as follows in TR.
so it made sense and I mentally prepared for the ascending over/unders outlined:
255w for 45s followed by 315w for 15s (2x)
270w for 45s followed by 315w for 15s (2x)
285w for 45s followed by 330w for 15s (2x)
300w for 45s followed by 345w for 15s (2x)
315w for 45s followed by 360w for 15s (2x)
But when it got pushed to my Garmin it only showed this for each of the over/under intervals:
255-315w for 45s
315-360w for 15s
It’s one thing if it’s a long temp interval of like 30-60min and it says 220-240w.
But for vo2 max over/unders I really need to know the exact targets for each 45s and 15s or I’ll push too hard early or too little later.
the whole interval segment was setup to be ascending and once I saw that’s how it looked on my Garmin I memorized it. But I’ll admit half way through both sets I forgot where I was.
any help on how to change this would be appreciated. Thanks.
