Opener workouts

Hi all, I 'm curious to know, from the Trainerroad team, why openers like truuli and truuli peak and their derivatives, aren’t ever prescribed as openers by plan builder. Reading the descriptions they are all marked as openers. On the other hand, workouts like cajon, pahrah or laurel are considered warmups from the description, but they are always prescribed as openers by plan builder. I’m a long time trainerroad user and tried everything for warming up and as opener, but I’m curious to know about this discrepancy between the descriptions and the prescription.

Openers are very personal, and you can definitely experiment with what works for you. The text on Truuli and other openers, like Cajon, is not meant to imply that one is useful as an opener and one is not. All of them can work and are a matter of personal preference.

However, I’ve forwarded feedback to the team that openers and their descriptions caused some confusion, so we can take a look!
