Hey gang, I’d like to get my 11 year old son a mountain or gravel bike on the cheap. He’s 5’3" and growing so he’s a small in most 27.5 or 29’er mountain bikes. ANyone got an entry level bike they’d like to part with?
Bit of a long shot, but does anybody want to trade Tarmac SL7 stems? I have a 110mm and I’m looking for a 120mm.
Where are all these “easily damaged” carbon bikes the Internet loves to prattle on about? I have been looking for a damaged frame that would be unrideable outdoors that I can throw a (ugly but safe) patch on to build a dedicated trainer bike. You’d think there would be hundreds or thousands from all the posts.

I’ve seen people buy/sell damaged frames for £800 in the UK. it was an SL7, but still.
I’ve seen them pop up in eBay.
Very few available, mostly higher end ones that are likely worth a proper repair, not a bodge. Ideally I am looking for something lower end from the last 10 years or so capable of running an 11-speed group (105-7000). Don’t need brakes, QR. Something like a older Giant TCR. I think part of the point is that there are so many CF is so fragile and breaks often posts when ever anyone ask about CF vs Al or China frames, that one would think there are piles of them lying around. Doesn’t seem to be the case

Ideally 53-54, but could work with 52 since it going on a direct drive trainer exclusively.

Ottawa, Canada. Another part of the issue, even if I could find one, because shipping any further than Toronto - Ottawa - Montreal is stupid expensive, anywhere in Canada really.

I was using a 1980s steel road bike on my trainer. It was a little too large, though, so I switched to my MTB with clip-on aero bars.
LADIES I have some NWT Machines For Freedom size Small Tall endurance bib shorts, black. Brand new with tags in packaging.
I bought them final sale and they are too tight (for ref, I’m 5’8", 145lb with athletic build. Usually I am a medium in shorts so idk why I bought a small lol)
