In Germany you can buy “Fruchtzucker” in most larger supermarkets. In the baking aisle. I prefer malotdextrin + fructose over maltodexting + sucrose. I find the sweetness of the latter somehow bad. But I guess this is highly subjective. [grafik] [grafik]

I do the same (table sugar), I go up to 10% solution and add a teaspoon of citric acid + sodium citrate. It’s sweet, but palatable. Certainly no sweeter than the usual tablets laced with sucralose sweeteners.
