'New' mid volume plans, Sunday Workouts

Having returned to TR after several years of working with a ‘real’ coach, it seems there have been some significant developments in the platform.

Has it been explained anywhere why MV Sundays have shifted from Sweet Spot to Endurance rides? I’m happy to give the new programmes a go, but I always felt that the back-to-back Threshold and Sweet Spot sessions at the weekend were a core part of MV, helping to build real depth in fitness. I’m curious whether the reasoning behind this change has been outlined anywhere.

I’ve already tried Google, before anyone suggests that… :zany_face:

This was a hot topic a few years back! Long story short, this was changed in response to athlete feedback and our data about outcomes/recovery from our many millions of completed workouts.
