I’ve dipped in to TR on and off over the years, and just subscribed again to check out TrainerRoad AI and see if it’ll work for me. I’ve entered a plan (cross country marathon for masters aiming at a 6 hour solo in September with some club CX racing through the NZ winter as B races).
I started last week. Today is a yellow easy or rest day. I’ve done my easy ride. Feel great, fully recovered by all accounts. But confused by the 5 sessions in the calendar for the day (2 endurance, 2 anaerobic, and a sweetspot). Assuming it’s some sort of bug (clearly, I’m not going to do them) but curious to know if anyone else has seen this. Over the last couple of days it has changed from showing one or two to now 5 workouts.
One of these (replacing Galena) appears to be coming from your TrainerRoad training plan, but 4 of these look like custom workouts imported from outside TR. Did you possibly schedule these on an external calendar, like TrainingPeaks?
I see! Yes, I did have what it’s showing as anaerobic 14.6 on that day at one point, but I shifted it a few days ago (and it’s showing twice).
And the endurance 1.6 session is the ride I had in for today, which I did, plus a bit longer. But it’s also showing that twice.
And the sweetspot workout is the original plan, so I get why that’s there.
Should the workouts from trainingpeaks come out if they’re moved in trainingpeaks? I’m not planning to have something in every day from there as I do want to follow the plan, but if there is a specific workout I prefer I’ll use it to load them to zwift/garmin.
I believe the changes you make in TrainingPeaks should sync back over to our calendar (but I have not personally worked on the TrainingPeaks sync functionality, so I need to double check on this tomorrow). This is helpful to know you did have them scheduled there as a starting point for investigating this. Thank you for the additional info!
Thanks! I’m having the same issue. I looked into turning off the connection but there is no option to only push to, not pull from TrainingPeaks. It has to pull and push the workouts.
