I remember a thread on this topic after the new AI was introduced, but I can’t find it so I’m starting a new one.
Today I originally had Wren scheduled. But shortly before starting my ride today it was changed to Foel, which I completed (in Zwift). After completing Foel, it shows up in my TR calendar, but Wren has also been added back to the calendar for today.
Yes, I can (and will) delete Wren, as I definitely won’t do a second workout today, but why did it show up again?
No idea, but for context I just looked them up in TR’s workout library, ok Foel is low level (1.7) but they’re both anaerobic (Wren is 3.3), and back-to-back doesn’t sound a good suggestion to me either!
Sounds like the bug that after completing a workout it would generate an additional one for the day. Can you let me know if this happens again and post a screenshot of it?
I had a similar issue today. On this occasion, what I noted was a bit different, in that the expected workout was in Zwift but, after I completed and uploaded it, a different workout showed up on my calendar, in addition to the one I had just completed.
The common factor in both situations seems to be that I had some sort of issue during my Zwift session (a situation where a ‘connection disconnected’ message appears at the top of the screen, but there aren’t any perceived issues in the ride). This seems to have resulted in some sort of issue with transferring the data to TrainerRoad, such that the RPE I entered at the end of the workout was not transferred to TR, and also the ride shows a notation of ‘Bike’, instead of 'Sweet Spot 5.9. All other data seems correct.
What makes it even more confusing is that this doesn’t happen every time the ‘connection disconnected’ message appears in Zwift. But this message is also rather generic, and simply indicates that one of a number of different issues may have occurred.
I hope this might help to diagnose the issue, though perhaps this is something that Zwift needs to resolve, as opposed to TR.
@Caro.Gomez-Villafane In looking at this a bit more today, I can also see that, while the workout/ride title is ‘Big Dog’ (which is the workout I did), the details look more like TR thinks it was just intervals done on an outdoor/free ride. There doesn’t appear to be any actual associated workout, and there is no achieved/prescribed AL level information shown. It’s like whatever sort of ‘connection disconnected’ issue there was during the ride just broke the connection with TR that I was doing a prescribed workout (even though I did still get the workout rating question at the end). Very strange, overall.
