Hey everyone. This is such a sad story and a massive tragedy. My heart goes out to Moriah’s family.
I know gun control is a very controversial subject and I have my own strong opinions on it. I’d like to not have that discussion on our cycling forum. If you would like to have it, there are many other forums to do so.
I think this thread is best used to communicate sadness and shock about this horrible crime.

Nope, and there are a number of flags here that are up for review. I am leaving them to official TR reps to handle.
In any event, the “two wrongs don’t make a right” axiom applies.
Please flag any post you think violates the forum rules and Nate’s wishes, and let TR handle it. There’s no need to try and counter comments that are not appropriate. Use the forum tools and leave it to TR, please.

What a complete and utter tragedy for Moriah Wilson and her family. Wish I was in Austin to join the memorial ride. You never know the full story, but at face value it sounds like she briefly intersected with an insanely toxic situation, with tragic and unnecessary consequences.

Hey, ya’ll. There have been a lot of comments about stuff outside of the tragedy. Because of that, we have decided to close the thread.
We understand that the details of this are controversial and emotions run high. If you want to get those out of your system via discussion of this topic, there are lots of other places on the internet to do that
