Mixing outside team rides with TR workouts

I do a lot of my riding outside with my team and other group rides especially on the weekends. I’m looking for recommendations for incorporating my trainer sessions. When should I do them? How many and at what intensity. My goal is to ramp up to a peak in mid May.

Use Plan Builder and choose a Low Volume plan. Replace hard workouts with hard rides. Adjust your schedule appropriately so you don’t have more than 3 hard days in the week.

If you don’t have a race to anchor your training plan to peak for (“A” race), chose an arbitrary day where you want to be in peak fitness.
