Math not mathing (expected progression level increase)

Hello,

maybe my understanding lacks comprehension on the matter, but please take a look at this screenshot I just took:

If my math is indeed mathing, then 12.8 (workout target level) - 8,7 (current progression level) = +4,1 which does not equal the expected progression level increase of +1.3 stated within the text?

Isn’t that a bit off?

Probably just goes to 10. you broke the scales

Yes, math is off but result is expected within current TR ecosystem:

  • Workout Level (WL) can be any value, including values higher than 10.
  • when you complete workout, your Progression Level will be set to new value (= WL) but not exceeding 10 ← Adaptive Training and TrainNow work under this limit.
  • basically, once you exceed PL10, it is time to review FTP or if there is not enough time since last AI FTP detection, then you are on your own – choose whatever high WL workout that feels appropriate.

I see, thanks for the answers!

Update, I have just completed the suggest Anaerobic workout.
Even tho that one was just a 9.8, it triggered the FTP detection after not even 18 days since the last one and it resulted in a slight bump in FTP.

All that @svens said, but a little edit to it! haha

You are never left on your own :see_no_evil_monkey: When completing a Level 9.0 workout in the Base or Build phase may trigger an AI FTP Detection, even if it hasn’t been 28 days since your last detection. Similarly, this detection can occur even when you are not following a structured training plan.
