Looking at a 2-3 week trip in September to ride bikes in EU. The vision is to spend a week in the mountains and a week on the Mediterranean. The mountain location I want most to visit is Bormio. The Mediterranean location I want most to visit is Mallorca, but logistically, it might make more sense to do something closer to Bormio, or Turin/Milan.
Somewhere on the Ligurian coast seems interesting, but the only places I know in the region are San Remo, which I assume is pretty built up, and Finale Ligure, which I know as a MTB destination but for no other reason. Cinque Terre looks cool but I assume its busy.
