You can do both as I do for Group Workouts. Just have the music going through a separate window (I use YouTube Music) and it will play to your headphones along with the Group Workout conversation. You can independently control the volume of the music and TR through each window, or increase them both simultaneously through the laptop/computer main volume.

MI-XC: Thanks! Sounds perilous but I could make it work. I normally do TR with an iPhone and it only lets me do YouTube without music. Maybe this time Iā€™ll have to take the plunge and use my MacBook and see if I can get the two-sound concept to work. Going to do a little Taku this morning to shake the legs out a bit.

Iā€™m doing a recovery week and already want to do a ramp test (FWIW Iā€™m actually fully committing to 285w FTP from 275 since my efforts such as 4x20 @ 90% I did yesterday based on 285w as the FTP are indicative of the HR/RPE Iā€™ve had at that FTP in the past). But maybe if I do a ramp test as a group workout I might be able to get a little more out of the effort

Just finished my first ramp test with the new FTP ticker. It told me I was looking at a 293w FTP when I caved and the prompt came up with 311?? Is this thing to be trusted?

Its actually not that difficult on rollers. The failure mode is a bit different if you are used to failing in the ERG mode spiral of death. Though Jonathan has the erg mode rollersā€¦ soā€¦ errrā€¦

@Jonathan any comments to that you would care to add?

Thereā€™s an earlier post about this and TR is working a solution. Yes, trust 311.

Awesome entertainment in a variety of pain cavesā€¦ I particularly loved the group silence when the work started! Great new feature that Iā€™m looking forward to on ios and android so my whole group can get involved.
