I am trying to do a factory spindown of my kickr v5 but it is failing, either it keeps hanging at the spindown or at the next step I get a message the procedure failed
Are you 100% sure there is only one device connected to it?

You can’t do a spindown with the v5, instead it will auto-calibrate when you coast.
I think that did the trick, disable all apps and also the climb
