Cool.
What part of the world are you in?
@hubcyclist, can’t wait to read more! I updated my blog after racing yesterday. Link here; ex-prosays.blogspot.com.
Was aiming for the podium or even the win, couldn’t close the deal. Oh well.
I post race reports and other learnings to my blog https://www.daviddepiano.com. Had some life changes causing a solid 12-15 months of time away from triathlon so getting back is tough, but you’d better believe TrainerRoad will be the key to getting me back.
Aero testing is hard. Who knew?
In other “news”, I’m as aero as a housebrick. ![]()
I did a look back on my CX racing data from last year, found some interesting trends and hopefully gives me hope for this year
Here’s my final wrap up on my season (which has ended). Mix results but overall happy with how it went and my results with Trainer Road.

yes I supposed I’m documenting it on my blog; some race reports, other articles just based around training concepts and discussion: Cycling Training Tips & Racing Advice | EVOQ.BIKE
Would love to hear any constructive feedback; cheers and thanks!
Hey gang,
Anyone else been keeping up with their blogs during this summer racing season?
Updated my blog again, I wrote about when I did the “Junior Tour de France.”

I’ve got to be honest, I hadn’t posted since Jan / Feb until today.
Have only posted now because I had a bit of a disaster ride last week and thought it might stop a few others from making the same mistakes. I’ll drop the link below if you’re interested:
It’s cool that some people have blogs, and I’m sure a few are interesting, but it just bothers me that “writing about my hobby” is now “documenting my journey” ![]()
I never thought I’d have a blog and don’t write much but agree that some of the language around them can be pretty amusing!
I just subscribed. I watched a few videos and you seem to have a knack for it that’s for sure.
Thanks! I really enjoy doing it! Hope to keep getting better!
I’m uploading my trainer road sessions to strava, does that count ![]()
I read your blog. Interesting. So what the story behind the name “347cycles”? It seems that if if there is an interesting story, you may want to include it an “about” tab (or similar).
Nice blog, following.
I really wish I had started out v/blogging my experience when I got back into fitness back in late 2017. It was quite the journey and I learned -so much-. Although also one of those things that are probably only interesting to me…
Oh man! A newborn AND a 2 yr old? You, sir, are a stud! I remember those days. Mine are 4 and 7 now and I’m sleeping at night so I can do my (UGH!) 5am trainer rides!
Hang in there.
Way to keep banging away at the bike!

I just updated my blog, added a section about when your season’s A-race gets cancelled. My Ironman race recently got cancelled the night before the race, and it was a rollercoaster of feelings!
Going to try documenting my journey as well. Hopefully writing it down is good for me to hold myself accountable to the plan, helpful in looking back to see the progress I’ve made (or not made; but let’s hope for made), and also a reasonable way to get some feedback / input from others.
Trying to hold myself to the discipline of weekly updates (at a minimum), here’s this week’s edition:
