Gotta love the tag line - “think again”.
It’s a fantastic deal! - Think again.
They have 4.5 stars!!! - Think again.
It’s 100% guaranteed!!! - Think again.
I got an Instagram ad too. Shameless.
FYI @gpl
i got an ad that was just showing up as “powermeterpedals”
So as the good consumer i am, i clicked on the dam thing.
Then the iq2 logo came up and i chuckled
who’s willing to place a losing bet of $200?
lol… no.
I actually originally ordered from the site too (because yes, I’m that dumb).
They really are scum.
At this point I assume any images they create are AI generated.
Interesting, the MTB pedals are completely gone from their website now. I assume that means they’ll be giving me my money back right?
Right?
Right! ![]()
And finally, the website is gone for good…
My moneys!!!

Holly shit… these assholes made a buck on this! (MILLIONS)
Wow, am I reading this right? 1.8M euros. What scumbabgs
Really? I thought the issue was that they never delivered anything but engineering samples. That the pedals never went into production.
Maybe Shimano could buy up this old stock and rebadge them? ![]()
This is fascinating! Do you have the story behind this? Seems like a slap in the face of all backers to do this. They took the money, created pedals, sold the pedals to another seller (probably, just speculation on my part), never send refunds or pedals to backers (i mean they did to a VERY few people).
Not to be overly jaded, but a “backer” has no legal standing and there is no legal reason for the company to make “backers” whole. (Ethics / ability to sleep at night are unrelated.)
They could have sold their inventory to satisfy a lender or vendor with legal standing and those parties must be paid out first from bankruptcy or liquidation.
The whole “backer” scheme is super sketchy regarding companies or players with zero track record. Even with a track record, every “backer” site says “backers” are owed nothing.
