πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ Introducing AI FTP Detection πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

No, it is not linked to AT.

You can manually add a Ramp Test now if you want to see it. BUT be forewarned that you won’t be able to use the feature for another 14 days after that. (You can only use the feature if at least 14 days have passed since your last FTP update.)

Hello, yes, I’m here.

But you can see it every day, right? It’s only if you accept it that you have to wait 14 days, correct?

Correct. 14 days between FTP updates. If you don’t accept, it won’t update your FTP.

It might be closer to fourteen MONTHS since I’ve done an FTP test  I’ve been using the eFTP from Intervals.icu and that’s been pretty close given that it can vary day to day anyway.

LOL excited to hear what you think!

Shows up in the Windows app.
Not showing up on Android. Manually updated in the play store and rebooted phone.

Posted in the other thread but figured I’d drop it here as well. I have been upping intensity of workouts the past few weeks, so this feels pretty spot on!

Huge thanks to @ambermalika and the entire team who developed this feature! I hate ramp testing, and the potential to never have to do them again makes me quite excited! Y’all are the best!

The language is a bit harsh, but accurate I guess…

Thank you and your team for all the hard work. And to TR in general for the innovation and customer support (actual support and hand holding on the forum).

I’m in the middle of an endurance week on the tail end of Base 1. I accepted the estimate but I’m also going to complete the schedule ramp test Tuesday just because I want to know if it will feel different after 6 weeks of using this training plan.

Thanks again!

OK, so if I did a manual update on feb. 1 (well…really a "down"date :disappointed:), the AI won’t be available to update me until the 15th, correct?

ETA - the feature is now showing up for me as well.

All I gotta say is that this is dead wrong, when just on monday I was struggling with 6min intervals at 333watts. I;ve been due for a ftp test for a while to bring it down but I have just been doing easier workouts instead.
If it matters I am doing all custom workouts.

I wonder if they have put a bit of logic in so that people don’t get decreases? Or maybe all those people are too busy crying?

Can we manually schedule a ramp test for the current date to β€˜peek’ what our new FTP would be or does it have to be an FTP test scheduled by Plan Builder/our training schedule?

So your FTP changed by 0.6% (which is nothing, really) and you’re not following a plan and you say it’s β€œdead wrong?” That doesn’t make much sense.

Outside of the 6 minute intervals are you struggling with anything else?

Nope…

Try again

or maybe MI-XC is elite level in accepting declines? :exploding_head:
