I did outside workout so I answered easy when I got back on the website

The survey was just the standard easy-all out and not asking why I didn’t finish

OK. Maybe that is because it was an outside workout then?

Seems like this would be a case where the “Incomplete / Early Finish” survey would be more appropriate.

It appears I have joined the “survey response not saving” camp this week. Have been prompted for the survey each time a workout finished and have entered a response. Later when I go to my career page on the web, it says it’s missing. I then enter it and it seems to stick.

Mentioning it since it’s a change in behaviour for me. Previously, had no issues with survey responses saving.

No update on the number added? Though I guess tht would only be useful if we knew our spot in line

How will you handle overlap? For example since TR doesn’t record SmO2 I record that on a garmin so have a garmin recording that overlaps with a tr workout. Will it know to ignore the activity from garmin?

(Or easily fixed by recording SmO2 in TR so I don’t need to duel record.)

Last they said, no-one was being added until they got the showstopper bugs fixed.

Can I do this for future rides in the plan? Will those then be adapted?

What I’m wondering is if I use this method to tweak a training plan if my changes in duration will ‘stick’ across adaptations, or if when an adaptation is done it will revert to an adaptation of the original workout that was part of the TR training plan.

I don’t know for sure, because I haven’t tried that myself. From the web, I don’t see a way to “swap” for the one directly. I swear I saw someone mention something like that, but I could be mistaken, or it might be in the TR app and not the web.

We likely need info from TR on this one, unless someone else has handled it and knows better.

Any effect the completion of that workout has on your Progression Levels is incorporated into your plan, but the specific duration and difficulty adjustment you make is just one-off for that workout.

Hey @SeanHurley so I had to abort my workout today and it sent me from 6.9, which I did yesterday, to 5.1 for my sweet spot progression level. I’ve got another 6.9 tomorrow but thought I’d let you know in case this isn’t really
Intended behavior

Interesting. Did you abort the workout due to struggling or due to time/device/some other factor? Did you get a post-workout survey, and if so, how did you answer it?

I was doing an outside workout and it decided to go all torrential rain on me lol

But I did the survey on the web afterwards and marked it easy

What device were you using- Garmin or Wahoo? DM me a link to your ride and I’ll pass this on.

Could updates be added to compare how many are in the wait list to how many have been activated in the closed beta? I upgraded to the annual plan as soon as the news rolled out and have been at the edge of my seat since the announcement. Hoping to have a gauge to anticipate if it may be weeks or months until access!!

Not sure if we’ll ever get the total number who signed up (likely too much strategic info to give away), but the original post does get updated with how many are in the beta (see below). It appears to have remained the same for the past week or so as they are fixing a bunch of bugs in the link the Ivy posted above your post.

Thanks, brotha!

My strategy is to pretend AT doesn’t exist and keep on keeping on the way I was before the big announcement

Excellent advice. I need to actually do the training in my plan before worrying about how a set of technologies in development might change the plan. Think stopping visits to threads with the words “adaptive training” in the title will be my first step.

how many TR usurers are there in total?
