I have had it with AT

1st I get a yellow light warning to take a rest day. However since I feel alright I put a recovery ride that’s 75 min long. You would assume any workout when rest is prescribed should be gravy on top of the week. The ride was actually quite easy as it should be but I got called to work early. So I ended the workout, gave it an easy and put time in the survey. It lowered my endurance progression by almost 2 points. Why does AT punish me for running out of time?

it has happened a couple times as well. This sort of stuff on top of 1-3w FTP increases and decreases, have made AT completely unreliable.

I am turning off AT and FTP detection and red/green light. Just going to old school TR where I just populate a training plan and follow it.

Are you sure that is in fact what it did?

If you hover? Click? Depends on where you are looking at it, on the progress level chart it will tell you why that zone increased or decreased most recently.

I didn’t screenshot it. But after I finished the survey, it said endurance progression-1.8

But what does it say the reason is on the career page?

Don’t turn off AT, just ignore PLs. AT is using ML/AI to choose your workout, not PLs. Not sure what their plan with PLs is, as they’re pretty much meaningless.

I wouldn’t say they are meaningless… just that the AI is blind to them.

They still give an indication of how far along you are with your training and provide a guide to compare workouts against each other.

Nobody is being punished :joy:

It looks like you might be mistaken here @Alen.

From what I can see, your Endurance PL is still 4.6 from your ride on Saturday.

I can see how the image below might look like you’re getting -1.8 PL points though. Is this what you were seeing?
