Human Powered Health brings visibility to IBD on World IBD Day

Pro cycling team, Human Powered Health has been a tremendous champion for taking charge of personal health and wellness. In addition to its racing program, Human Powered Health is an inspirational rallying cry with a simple, vital mission – “to inspire people to take small, simple steps towards greater health and well-being.”

Today is World IBD Day, and HPH has a rider on their roster, Cory Greenberg - who is one of almost 6 million people worldwide who is afflicted with IBD. I am honored to call Cory a great friend and truly an inspiration as a fellow IBD patient. His support has been tremendous in my own health and cycling journey.

Cory’s Story: A Pro Cyclist With IBD – Human Powered Health Cycling

I am eternally grateful to HPH for asking me to be part of this project to raise awareness and bring some visibility to this invisible disease. Together, Cory and I have founded Ride4IBD Ride4IBD - an effort to raise awareness and support for IBD patients through the lens of cycling.

Our hope is that anyone out there who may also be suffering in silence, have a resource and support network that also inspires folks to challenge what’s possible with IBD.

:purple_heart: With deep appreciation for the support from the cycling community :purple_heart:
