After a workout, I see two different numbers for various “Workout levels”, sometimes with a bracketed + number in green after it. If I look at Career I see “Athlete levels” which are different from both of the most recent Workout level numbers in most categories; I can’t tell if my Athlete levels have changed recently. I think Athlete levels are sometimes referred to as “Progression levels”, or this might be something different. If it is something different, there’s no screen that tells me what my Progession levels are.
What does it all mean? I’ve read the help but it didn’t explain these different numbers.
My main question is how do I know when I’ve improved? It used to be easy to tell in the old system.
Progression levels are now called athlete levels because they are now less relevant. The system no longer automatically gives you a 4.7 after a 4.5 (example numbers) as a progression forward because the 4.5 could actually be harder in the new system.
After a workout the 4.7/4.5 shown for a certain zone simply means that the workout was a 4.5 you did the work of a 4.7. this should increase your athlete level to a 4.7 on the career page.
My workout today showed Workout Levels for Sweet Spot 4.6/4.3 (+0.7). So it translates as workout level achieved / workout level planned (any resulting change in athlete level).
Hovering over the Sweet Spot Athlete Level in Career I can see that it did indeed increase by 0.7, from 3.9 to 4.6.
