I’ve been doing 100 push-ups (and variations) most days this year… as a new years resolution of sorts. Usually knock them out in sets of 25 or 30-ish before breakfast. It’s made a big difference in my posture on the mountain bike.
How the heck are people supposed to do a 1.16 IF workout that’s 2 hours long?? I’m assuming do it in resistance mode and then the intervals become max efforts that will inevitably dip well below the original targets.
The training sessions, consisted of multiple sets of self-paced maximal intensity sprints…both groups were asked to complete each effort at the highest possible intensity
I’ve done it maybe 4 times over the years. I’ve lived near Asheville for 14 years so it’s crazy I’ve only done it that many times. I don’t really care for riding on the parkway, the traffic has gotten pretty bad. But! The park service has shut down portions of the parkway to cars (open and legal for bikes) so is locals have renamed it the “mile high greenway” luckily the mount Mitchell portion is part of that closure.
