For the record, I had already tried the Factory spindown. It did not solve the problem for me. The Wahoo rep I’m speaking with is suggesting it is interference with the Bluetooth signal. I’m a bit skeptical but out of other options. Won’t be able to test it until the weekend, but will report back if I’m able to solve the issue.
It was my understanding that the factory or advanced spindown would only come up the first time a Kickr was paired with the wahoo app, it was for first time setup only. After that it was only supposed to be accessed for troubleshooting purposes, that is why wahoo made it so hard to access.
It’s been long enough since I got my Kickr, I don’t remember for sure, but the Advanced did not come up automatically for me.
I did it manually after cross checking with my P1 pedals and not liking the results. After the Advanced one, everything went better.
That may all be how it was when I got my Kickr17, and could well be different now.
