I have a TT race this Sunday, and TrainerRoad has scheduled a relatively demanding threshold workout for Saturday. This race is my ‘C’ priority of races in my program so that might have a lot to do with it, but it doesn’t seem like a great idea to do a tough ride the day before a 20k TT.
I think it’s a better idea to move a 1hr easy endurance ride from Wednesday to Saturday morning, swapping it for the harder threshold ride earlier in the week. Then of course Cajon for the warmup on the day. Any idea why TrainerRoad plan builder hasn’t done this? Seems like an obvious feature…don’t put a hard ride before race day haha.
