The sapphire of the 6 line was not as bright as the non Sapphire screens. Glass let’s more light through

Anybody here have any experience with Suuntos and specifically the latest Suunto 9. I’m just not the hugest fan of Garmin and their ID. Though the Fenix 7 looks pretty damn good i just like the design Vibe of Suunto’s line up better but i am a total smart watch nube and have just used my Wahoo head units and apple watch (strava app) in the past.

The connect IQ benchmark has been updated to support the Fenix 7 and epix Now just need to get someone to run it
Pretty sure you have just described the Epix? Seems like a straight up screen versus battery life equation - with the battery life on the epix actually still being pretty decent.

Anyone looking for motivation to step up to a 7 or an Epix I’m looking to finally retire my 910 and have no problem with a used 6/6x pro, 745 or 945, basically just looking for music capable and not needing my damn laptop out to sync it.

The Fenix 6 and 945 are both great watches. I’m sure there are a whole slew of them going on eBay. DCR’s reviews were really thorough. I later watched other great reviews from DesFit. I’ve got to admit, I’m interested in the 7X. So I’m probably going to part with my Fenix 6 Pro Solar. I ordered 7x from REI and will try it out on Monday.
How did you find the 7x?
I am really torn between that and the Epix. Like the idea of the better screen. But loved my 5x and never found it too big
