FTP Increases TR vs. Zwift

I don’t care about “bigger numbers”. I care about updating my training and the inquiry was about mid-program changes based on the input I received from and additional source, in this case Zwift.

And I think we covered the facts about the differences between how TR & Z get their FTP values.

As with any suspected improvement or change in fitness, it’s best to retest with the same protocol as done in the past, for most accurate comparison.

But you can also make manual adjustments based on best guesses from evaluation of performance in workouts, rides, and races.

I would just avoid mixing methods and using numbers from different apps and/or FTP calculation methods. Keep it consistent and you will have the best knowledge to draw from to set your training.
