Does anyone have a good idea for the amount of clearance I’ll need between my chainstay and Donnelly EMPs, which are 700x38mm on my 2017 Pivot Vault, for Dirty Kanza 100?
I can slide a 6mm Allen between the front tire sidewalls and fork, but only a 4-5mm Allen between the rear sidewall and chainstay.
Plenty of room on top of tire, about a fingers depth or so.
I also plan on using this setup at Barry-Roubaix in a couple weeks. Barry is my B race, so figured even though a different setup is required for BR and DK, I’d run my DK setup as it’s my A race.
