You can still hit new posts by going to New topics - TrainerRoad but it’s daft having to type the URL or bookmarking it separately.
Based on some of the atrocious UX we see on new apps and sites (including the latest batch of EV cars), they aren’t teach design in school today either.
VW’s iD platform software, I’m looking at you.
Also, all the new-fangled door handle designs (Hyundai and Ford are particularly awful). And Tesla’s stupid F1-inspired steering yoke.
I was just about to post something on this topic and I saw this thread.
I am totally missing the ‘new’ and ‘unread’. I would use those every time I came to the forum.
Please bring them back if possible.

Yes and it’s really annoying. I thought it was something I had done accidentally and I’ve spent a lot of time trying, unsuccessfully, to rectify.
I’ve gone the bookmarks route also which has restored the functionality it had prior to the update. Maybe not quite as convenient but on a desktop it’s a lot better than the hamburger which I find useless.
