For the great team over at TR: putting in a request to consider adding menstrual cycle planning for female riders. Lots of insightful research out there that shows how each phase of the cycle affects the body and ultimately, exercise output.
I volunteer to help with any UI/UX testing if this is of interest for the development team. If not, completely understand. Couldn’t hurt to throw it out there.

+1 here. I don’t bother creating or following TR training plans anymore because I can’t align them with my luteal and follicular phases, especially since I don’t know exactly when they will begin and end.

Obviously I’m not part of the TrainerRoad team but I could have swore that was something @ambermalika was working on before she left. Not sure if anyone has carried on with it or not.

I think it’s a great suggestion to integrate menstrual cycle tracking into TrainerRoad’s adaptive training. Hormonal fluctuations definitely impact recovery and perceived effort, especially in the luteal phase. Even a basic feature to log symptoms and shift workout intensity slightly would be a meaningful step. Would love to see the platform evolve toward more inclusive, personalized performance tools like this.
Even though this is no longer really relevant to me, I absolutely support this suggestion. My menstrual cycle was every 24 days with at least 3 days of excruitating pain and bleeding, plus 2 days lost in exhaustion to ovulation, so the 3 weeks on 1 off pattern would have been a nightmare. Being able to plan around a predictable menstrual cycle would be much easier.
