When I’m doing Z2, I mostly watch some sort of YouTube bike video - mostly race videos/recaps, stream the TdF or lately, the Vuelta. There’s some people, like DanCyclestheWorld who is traveling from Alaska to Argentina by bike. His adventures are stunning, and 30-some videos in!
For intervals, I have saved nearly all the “Live Cycling” videos to an “interval motivation playlist” on YouTube. There’s around 85 videos. It’s race footage from elite road cycling along with some of the broadcasting and a LOT of good motivating music. Most of the music I wasn’t familiar with before these videos, but since these have been my go-to’s for 75+ workouts a year over the last couple years, I know them all too well.
Would you be willing to share this playlist or least the best videos from it? Thank you!
This also makes me want to add another question for everyone:
What is your favorite video content to watch during threshold and HIIT sessions? (I assume that during zone 1 and zone 2 everyone listens to or watches whatever they personally like, so there will be less common ground.)
Z2: anything goes, deep/progressive electronic music, reggae, metal and everything in between.
Z3+: techno, trance etc… big fan of this playlist on spotify Techno Bunker
