From Monday 24th I have an 8 week long block without a de-load week. Does TR do that sometimes or is it a glitch?
A block of what? Base? Race build?
Speciality (4 weeks) > base (4 weeks), no de-load weeks
I would not assume that this is TR’s desired behavior. Even if TR doesn’t do it automatically I would insert a rest week there. Maybe even a little off or midseason break if you’ve gone through a whole base→build→Specialty cycle wihtout a longer break.
thanks
Perhaps a coach/member of the TR team can chip in here? Is it normal for TR to suggest such a long stretch without deloading?
I’m sure @eddie will chip in when he wakes up over there ![]()
Sure sounds like a glitch to me - I’ve always had a de-load week.
If you need an answer quickly then you could either email support or use the live chat - they’re always quick to respond ![]()
Hey @barney76 ![]()
Let me look into this! There is something amiss here, you should be getting a recovery week.
@kevistraining, I normally beat @eddie to wake up time hahaha, so I am available verrryyy early in the am as well
But yes, live chat would be the fastest if one of us (Support) is connected at that time.
@barney76, I did just notice that your Geneva event is not being taken into account by your plan. The date of it falls outside the training tran.
In this case, I think it will be wise to delete the plan and rebuild it (with the original start day so it takes into account all the training you’ve done), and make sure it includes your Geneva event.
Rebuilding it will also most likely fix the Recovery Week issue. Did you by chance create the plan and then added the Gevena event? Or do you remember editing something along the way?
I’ll spam you next time instead ![]()
Understood, thank you! I may well have fiddled with it along the way!
I’m hoping it won’t extend this block as I’m about to start a de-load week and was looking forward to it! ![]()
@barney76, just following in up to see how all is looking on your side ![]()

Hi, I rebuilt as you suggested but still having the same issue with a lack of recovery weeks. Your colleague Patric is looking into it for me
