I found a great workaround that gives me a manual alternative to the Rizer or Climb at a total cost of $75.
I bought a Forsvara fork mount adapter that attaches to a car jack stand. You then attach a front fork bike mount (like MBP) to the adapter, remove the wheel of your bike, and slide the bike”s front fork on to the MBP bike mount.
With the jack stand, I can increase the incline manually, very quickly and easily (but you do have to get off the bike). The second huge benefit is that this arrangement frees up lots of space in my limited basement. By removing the front wheel, I can move my accessory table to the front of the bike instead of off to the side. Some pictures are below along with a link to the Forsvara attachment.
Maybe this is the poor man’s alternative, but I love having the ability to adjust incline and get some much needed space in my cramped basement.
