Kinetic R1 Trainer - Price Drop - Worth it?

Noticed Amazon was selling the R1 for $675… a big drop from the original price.

I’m thinking of upgrading my old elite fluid training. I assume I’m going to be riding indoors a lot more now days.

Is it worth picking up with the price drop? Reading DCRainmaker, it seemed the unit had issues with accuracy and also was very loud.

An elite Suito is only about $150 more, but it doesn’t have the rocking ride feature.

Depends on what you want it for…for general riding on Zwift, more steady state intervals, it is probably fine. If you are looking for very specific wattage targets for high intensity intervals, probably not the best choice.
