Competitive Cyclist has 2x cash back (20%) for Summit + members today and tomorrow. There is a large item I have been looking at purchasing and called to confirm that it applies to existing members…which it does. For example, you could buy a $10k bike and get $2000 cash back to be used at Competitive Cyclist / Backcountry. Pretty good deal for those looking at making larger purchases.
I really like there stuff but it is so darn expensive
Does Favero have sales on their pedals? They’re reasonably priced IMO so not a big deal but I have a store credit at BikeTiresDirect and any of their sitewide sales ever apply to Favero pedals.
so I’m just deciding whether to go ahead and buy them now or wait until thanksgiving
Sometimes on Black Friday / cyber Monday
Last time I checked Favero removed the US as a shipping option from their website, so I doubt there will be a black friday sale for us. Presumably tariff related.
It depends how they code the coupons.
I’ve gotten a 20% off Shimano stuff before, and it’s “normally” excluded from all promos.
That said, their price isn’t great either. I bought mine from Powermeter City, and they list there for $499 without any discounting. Save your credit for something else.
In my case I have a $300 credit with BTD so would definitely prefer to apply that to pedals
Some deals in the close out - outlet section
Jensen and Mike’s Bikes are running sales right now. 20% off some Aspero Models.
Probikesupply.com has an ‘add to cart’ deal on a few sizes of S-Works SL8 for $2800. Looks like 54 and 56.
Edit: I hope someone bought one because they reduced the discount to 11%.
I don’t think this has been posted, but EF Pro Cycling is selling off their 2025 bikes now that the season has ended:
EF still doesnt ride lab71 frames
Lab 71 frames are on the site.
This is on the listings

Great bikes and prices. Be sure to check shipping costs and potential import tariffs to the US
Yep, they ride the HI-Mod frames which are stiffer.
The Spec teams reportedly ride non-publicly available Tarmacs, that are custom bikes with more than twice the headtube stiffness. Things to think about when you think you’re riding what the pros ride.
Is that true though? I’m fairly certain UCI rules require that the frames used in races are publicly available. It sounds doubtful to me that Specialized teams would be knowingly in breach of that rule given the implication that breach could see them dq’d from all the races they’ve ridden on the ‘modified’ frames.
It’s been mentioned in several podcasts from people in the industry. Apparently you can only tell if it’s disassembled and look down the headtube. The same mold is used as the production bike, but with a different carbon layup schedule.
Not sure the UCI cares as long as the same molds are used? S-WORKS bikes technically aren’t even homologated.
