He rides Felt

Not a huge catch, though its a stiff frame and a fairly aggressive geometry compared to some of the ‘comfier’ bikes out there today. DM me if you have any specific questions if you’re seriously considering the purchase.

FELT as a brand has been around since the early 90’s out of California and been through a few phases of ownership. In their current layout, it seems they are continuing to put emphasis on Tri and Gravel while letting their road line grow old. They haven’t sponsored major road teams lately but do sponsor a number of gravel athletes and plenty of pro triathletes.

For anyone interested in the Red E1 shifters, I can confirm the 25% discount works on them today at BTD.

If only they had the exchange shifters available!

I know, right? :upside_down_face:

I already have my E1 exchange shifters, so it doesn’t really help me, but if you wanted the extra bling from the calipers, $506 is a pretty good deal.

Hmm I wonder how much the force will cost when they come out

code?

No code, you need to be an existing member though (made a previous order basically). Just add to cart and if it applies you will see a discount.

No code…discount taken in the cart automatically for Gold members.

Who knows…my guess will be ~$450 (with calipers). More importantly, demand will be astronomical, so getting your hands on some may takes months of effort.

Vision Metron 60 SL Limited Edition TDF Disc Brake Wheels 45% off at BTD

These have 21mm internal width, and I heard this morning that Vision just released an update to their Metron 45 and 60 wheels with wider widths. If you dont mind the TdF theme, these look like a good deal. Shimano HG freehub only, no option for SRAM but you could change it out yourself after purchase.

Specialized Turbo Cotton 28s marked down to $35.88 at Excel.

I guess the Turbo Cottons have been discontinued in favor of tubeless ready tires so this is closeout pricing.

Thanks, ordered the tires. I can’t imagine better tires for that price.

Thinking about picking a few of these up for my road bike. I seldom ride it anymore, but I’m out of tires for it and don’t really want to spend $60+ per tire for it when I dust it back off. Anyone know how these Turbo cottons compare to a GP5000? Decent durability and wear? Conti GP 4000/5000 is pretty much all I’ve run for the last ~15 years on the road bike.

$49 for AXS battery and charger. Very good deal considering just an OEM battery is typically more. I recently had a dead battery at the trails and wished for a spare battery and that I also had my charger with me.

I wouldn’t advocate relying on them as your primary battery but this is the precise situation I carry a cheap off-brand battery from Amazon in my saddle bag for
