Down With Big Vowels!!!

I’m sorry, I don’t really understand that, could you explain?

With kids these days there’s no time for vowels, they “don’t have a moment to spare”.

That’s just what Big Consonants wants you to say

Recently learned another reason why… to sell on Amazon you must prove there are no trademark infringements. Anything remotely sounding like any other company/product is going to put you in the seller penalty box for a year or more while issues get worked out. So companies come up with names that couldn’t possibly have been used, in any language, in any country, ever… The idea is you plug your new product name into Google and get precisely zero results. haha.

I believe they were referencing the lack of vowels in the company name Nduranz in comparison to the word endurance.

I thought Podlogar just ate gummie bears anyway lol? I do enjoy his content though.

See, I would have called it PodloCARBZ by Tim Podlogar

That along with their Nrgy drink mix!

Shimano Ultegra Di2 R8100 Groupset | Jenson USA in case you didn’t want the Merlin deal

Man, I read that too quickly and read it as Nigiri (sushi) and thought that was an interesting choice for flavoring.

prices are liable to change (and the R8100 FD for <$100 has already sold out) but with some creativity, one can get a bunch of 12 spd ultegra components for way cheap from TPC. Reuse cranks/rotors, add a cheap chain/charger/couple of wires and you’re in business.

Do they have TT stuff on steep discount?

Wow! Thanks for the heads up. My wallet is now $1,100 lighter. :joy: :sob:

There is a lot more for sale on TPC. Lots of SRAM AXS stuff, 105 (FD was in stock last I checked), misc components. E.g. Rival AXS shifter/caliper for $150 per side.

Holy moly that’s a crazy deal. Must. Resist. Seriously hard to beat.

The Pro’s Closet Shimano sale is ridiculous. They allow the $40 off coupon as well. Just built up a 12 speed Ultegra group for less than $800. I did 4 orders of $200 with $40 off each.

Yea, I went with the 105 for $54. It’s not a small as the Ultegra but for that price you can’t beat it. They have everything you need on there. Battery and 2 wires (RD and FD). The shifter/brake set usually have the hydraulic hoses included.

Edit: You could go full 105 for probably $500 if you really want to save money. I wanted Ultegra shifters for the satellite shifter port, which 105 doesn’t have.

I did Dura Ace shifters, cassette, and FD, Ultegra calipers and RD, plus battery, and misc wires for ~$1,100 shipped, including tax. I have a couple spare XT/Ultegra chains, so I just need a crank, hoses, and rotors for a complete groupset. Should be all-in for <$1,400.

Thanks-If I am using it for TT bike, do I want to get this: Shimano Dura Ace SM-EW90-A Di2 3 Port Junction Box (A)? Trying to be wise with getting stuff now, even though I don’t have the bike yet. Will save me a fortune.

I’m looking at the Dura-Ace 11 speed 9150 shifter and RD combination. Any idea on what wires I’d need for that?
