Agreed! I have an Empire and love it. The Shafer was #2 on my list of gravel bikes. I ended up getting a Seigla 4-6 weeks ago. My only reservation is the slack front end.

That Empire gets great reviews. I have a Signal Peak 120/110. The Shafer will be my next bike.

I have those same prices. I don’t know how the Canadian guy has it $100 less. But it’s ok. Usually Canadians get the short end of these deals.

When you get it pls post pics and let us know how you like it, especially comparing ride feel to your other bikes. I’m very impressed with the Empire and I would strongly consider the Veyo if I were in the market for an aero road bike. I don’t MTB so can’t speak to those bikes but the lineup looks impressive.

Thanks for that. My GF wants to dabble into cycling. So I got her a trainer bike on FB marketplace but it’s an 8sp casssette. I was planning on the hub 1 so she can have a 12sp on trainer without the upgrade to a 12sp. But if the core can be updated with a firmware, then I rather get the core for her.
Weird. I’m still seeing 579 Euro, which is way more than what you’re seeing. Is that USD or CAD? It’s also weird because I only see prices in Euro, I can’t even get a dollar.
Edit: Scratch that. I’m just an idiot and didn’t change my region.
