Is anyone aware of any available discounts on assioma duos?

Unfortunately no. I just bought some now that prices are back in the ā€œnormalā€ range.

Thanks. Figured I should double check before paying retail!

I got mine through Clever Training. Their 10% VIP discount does not apply to the Assiomas (or really any electronics or anything else I want to buy, it seems).

I managed to snag mine through CT with a DCR VIP sale when they did accept the discount (I think Nov 2017?)–helped offset the USD/CDN conversion loss + shipping + duties/taxes I had to pay.

Coure, in the US at least, is having their winter sale. There are a handful of good deals on shorts and jerseys. They’re my go-to for bib shorts.

are this comfortable?

Can you, or anyone else, speak to their sizing? According to their chart I’m a S by waist and a L by weight. Guessing M would work since I’m a M in most things, but the 33-35ā€ waist for M is throwing me off (I’m 6ft, 160lbs, 32 waist).

I tend to go more off the waist measurement than anything else.

I’m 6’ 195lbs 36 waist and I feel like have a good fit in a L, but if I drop to my lower 180 weight, 34" waist, i might be drifting into M land.

One thing i will say is that the shorts run a little longer than some, which i like, but I imagine for shorter people with larger waists, it could be an issue with the fabric getting a little too far down towards the knee.

I’m 5’9", 145lbs, and 31-32" waist.

I have multiple pairs of Cuore bibs in size M that I save for my longer trainer rides (1.5-2 hours). I feel like I’m on the very low end of the ā€œit fitsā€ range of the medium bibs, and for me, the chamois mates well with my Shimano Pro Stealth saddle.

My choices for bib sizing are usually between a tight-fitting small (Rapha core, Voler) or more comfortable medium. The longer the shorts are, the more likely I am to go with size small.

For me, absolutely. Granted I have always had their MS-1 (mid-range/silver) chamois so I can’t speak to the lower or upper tier ones. I use a couple of cheaper Pearl Izumi’s for short 60-90 minute training rides, but anything more and they don’t feel like they’re providing any cushion after a while. I can do a 6-hour trainer ride with these and actually not hate my life.

These are, or at least used to be the go-to shorts for Jonathan Lee on the pod-cast. They interviewed Cuore way back on episode 60 if you’re curious.

Does anyone currently have a 10% coupon (or any coupon) for Power Meter City? I think I’ve seen some floating around her before but haven’t had any luck using the search.
