For sure the Hammer (H1) original. Can be easily upgraded to the latest firmware and be totally ready to rip.
Looking through here and @dcrainmaker, seems like there is not a huge difference between the original and the H3 (I am not worried about noise). Is this correct? Or did I miss something?
Correct. The Hammer has the original segmented belt and had a whine at high speeds. But it is not as loud as the older Kickrs since it is mostly enclosed.
The one issues with the Hammers can be a fixed Thru Axle lever hitting the case. You need a tooled axle or one that allows moving the lever to “ratchet” it and miss the case body.
Otherwise- the Hammer series may well be my favorite trainer.
All of pactimo skin suits are marked down a good amount.
I love Pactimo stuff and have a lot of gear from them…but those skin suits are ugly AF. Wow, those are bad.
Everyone has their own taste and style. There’s several different options and I ordered one that I think looks great. Life would be pretty boring if we all liked the same stuff.
Truth. And I’m glad they have more options than just solid colors because I usually like the bright color. These ones are just not for me.
Not sure on the accuracy really. But yes to the others. It pulls the H1 right up to the H2 headless function (must have external power) and gets cadence too.
I wonder if they’re about to drop em all and come out with new styles for 2020. Only reason I can think they’re all on sale
EXRB-CDNFP
15% off bike tires direct. Not on sale/closeout.
I reached out to the Admins first to get the ok, but wanted to share a link to get 15% off an LifePro massage gun. I own it personally and have been using some in our rehab clinic and it’s been wonderful. For anyone looking for one, it’s a very good price. Use code “massagegunfightx”
Original Hammer for $499 from Bike Closet:
https://bikecloset.com/product/cycleops-the-hammer-direct-drive-smart-trainer-2/
There’s a pile more deals that have popped up cycling-wise over the last couple-days. Of note:
CycleOps Hammer: $599 - https://dcra.in/OGHammer (looks like also above at $499, but if you’ve got CT points to burn, worth looking at too)
Elite Direto X - $799 (norm $899) - https://dcra.in/DiretoX
Pioneer power meters & bike computers - 40% off: https://dcra.in/Pioneer-CT (obviously, due to sale of Pioneer Cycling to Shimano - but all this stuff is supported long term)
Tacx NEO 2 - $1,199: https://dcra.in/NEO2-CT - This one isn’t quite lit up yet, but will be stock-wise shortly. Essentially Tacx unlocked a pile of NEO 2 units to be clearanced out (versus the current NEO 2T). Honestly I see very little reason to get a 2T over a 2 given the $200 price difference. Just me though.
I’ve got a full list of other things that started today, include a bunch of watch stuff, action cam stuff, etc… all listed here: http://www.dcrainmaker.com/deals
Sweet!
Are there any predictable times for when the Assiomas might next be on sale?
Super deal on POC Air Spin…
It shows as $150 US
Not a discount, but a price drop that I found out about as I was speccing/budgeting for my new crit bike: 4iiii dual power installation on your own crank now down to $650CAD (pretty sure this used to be $800+).
ISO S-Works Venge of SystemSix EVO deals, as well as quality aero tires. Thanks in advance!!!
Roy Sheep Head Cycles is selling a system six size for 3k typically no tax and free shipping although that’s subject to change. I ordered a new s works tarmac from them for an absurd price
