I’m in the middle of SSB low volume 1 and the software told me to set the resistance on 3(out of 5). I was at my highest gear and close to spun out during my ramp test but have been adequately challenged during the workouts. When it comes time to move to SSB LV2, should I increase the resistance by a notch(or perhaps all the way to level 5) before doing the next ramp test?
This is a great idea. Keep in mind that you’ll have to adjust your VirtualPower profile to account for the change, and then retest your FTP with the new mag setting. That said, if you’re spinning out the resistance of your trainer, definitely take it up a notch or two.
