So, I thought over unders were my most hated…..that was until my coach gave me mini-bartolis this week. ![]()
Just starting build so a ‘gentle’ introduction with 3 minutes of tempo low cadence standing climbing followed by 2 minutes all out high cadence seated spinning, repeat.
I haven’t climbed out of the saddle since riding my old road bike about 10 years ago. Don’t need to with gravel gears, so it was a real shocker to find out I’d lost the ability to do this well. Power was all over the place! And then to have to sit and spin at 90 to 100 rpm when I’m more a 70 to 80 rpm kinda gal….well, it totally blew my little brain, and my legs ![]()
I can see why I have these in my calendar, I will just be weeping every Tuesday until build is over
