If you’re in the Beta, it will be one of the top topics when you open the Forum. It’s titled ā€œTrainerRoad AI Beta Testingā€. If you’re not in the Beta, you won’t see it.

Is the FTP value that it is predicting higher than the value it suggested your FTP is currently?

I don’t know. I never clicked on reveal when the new system booted as I thought I’d be able to manually trigger a contemporary AIFTP detection but that has gone as feature unfortunately :man_shrugging:

It’s saying my ftp will go from 225 to 219 based on what is come by 6 Feb

You really need to discuss this in the beta thread. There you will likely get a response from TR employees who can help you understand why and what to can do differently.

All I know is that I appreciate TR’s focus on digital UX/UI overall quality. There is no brand in the ā€˜sports tech’ category that exceeds it - Garmin, Strava, Wahoo, WHOOP and all the rest. (Sidebar: Favero is another standout that punches WAAAAYYY above its weight.)

Some might be frustrated by TR’s approach to this overall rollout, but I’m assuming they don’t (or didn’t - it’s pushed out to everyone now, as I see it) - until it met their standards of quality. I appreciate that. And it’s not common in the hustle fast, AI-slop fueled economy right now.

Biking is very important to me. It’s my personal passion and escape. I appreciate TR working hard to honor that and protect me from any random Atlassian, Microsoft, or SAP (looking at you, Concur) blandness.

Dude I’m doubting any of that, like i said, multiple times above, I don’t want to be part of the beta .. I’d rather other people sort the bugs out than me

I never doubted that TR would release it when it’s ready, I never said they should release it now, i’ve never asked for a release date

I was just stating, that like we all know, beta tests find bugs, thats what beta testing if for, I’m just simply saying that

Anybody who knows anything about testing, will not be suprised that it took 13 days to go from opening the beta test .. to cancelling the release date, over the xmas period when people on holiday … so the sales drive the xmas period telling people it would be SOON …. seemed a bit , well it’s the reason people got a little upset,

If you tell your kids they can open their presents on xmas eve, and then on xmas eve that santa isn’t coming till chrismas day, they will get upset and cry all day, if you don’t promise anything until you know santa’s been …. everybodies happy … that is all I was saying

Hail Trainer road … their great, looking forward to the new upgrade when it’s ready … and not before

Will I finally get training plans that have more than 1 hour rides to prepare me for a 6 hour event?

I would like to get some early access to this feature as a very consistent athlete

The new system is much better at adjusting time for workouts and that is a specific feature added to endurance workouts, a slow ramp up of time as it feels you’re for enough to do it.

But like the old system is you tell it you have an hour on Tuesday it’s still going to only give you an hour on Tuesday. If you’re only getting 1 hour workouts then the majority of the time, you told it you only had 1 hour.

This isn’t exactly true. The new system will tell you when you need to add more time if you want to advance.

The dynamic endurance you set a max time you’ll allow, I did 3 for sat endurance for example. I changed nothing else. I had a yellow day plus moved it to this morning and it dropped me from 2 to 1.5 and next weekend it’s at 2:15 3 weeks from now it’s at 2:30. It automatically ramps up time on those workouts.

There is also the anti pioneer-3 slider somewhere ( never used it) that once you max out a wl for a given zone will increase time. Possibly that is the one you’re saying prompts you?

Regardless the majority of the it doesn’t give me enough time complaints are based on users inputting their time constraints. I fully understand that as a ā€œcoachā€ the program should be more progressive at times. But even with coach if you said I only have an hour before work on Tuesday, they aren’t going to give you longer workouts on Tuesday.

I’m not sure what is public and what is still in beta, so will refrain from talking details further, but yes, I think what you’re saying is close to what I am saying.
