I’m assuming there is some kind of finishing piece that covered this. Is anyone familiar?

This is a pic of what Canyon has on their web site. Looks the same. I would imagine if you contact Canyon they would hopefully be able to get one for you.

Yep. Unscrew the RD hanger, put the piece back on, screw things back together. You have to remove this piece to affix it to some trainers. Canyon should be able to sell you a replacement. (I have the same bike and have removed this piece.)

Thanks all. I spoke to them after browsing their spare parts page. They don’t have any at the moment, suprise surprise. The good news is they said they are getting a parts shipment in September.
