I just tried this (went forward in the calendar and added a new plan) and can’t find the weekly description annotation. Where does it appear?
CORRECTION: It works with Sweet Spot Base LV1, but didn’t show anything with OTBLV.
UPDATE: Played around with it a bit (obviously didn’t test every option), and it seems like there’s a weekly description annotation for the pure cycling plans but not for the triathlon plans.
@Scorpion756 Thanks for pointing this out. We hid the weekly tips for Tri Plans because we found they were just noting the swim and run workouts for the most part, and not giving tips and goals for the week.
Since we now show the actual swim and run workouts on your calendar, we felt showing these could lead to confusion since they would show different prescribed days for your workouts than what you have selected when adding the plan.
In the future I could see us updating these weekly tips to include only tips and not the swim and run workouts, but that hasn’t been scheduled out yet.
So much love for this addition. ![]()
I just re-added a plan to see it and it looks like a great solution.
I haven’t read through the whole thread so apologies but can I push this to my wifes outlook so she can see what I have?
Thanks. Tuesdays get pretty cluttered now with three all-day events now.
- Tuesday workout
- Weekly summary
- Plan start
Would it make sense for the Weekly Summary to be created as a Monday note?
That is how I did my own version using annotations. It was good to see it at the very start of the week.
Seems really stupid that the calendar can only go a year in advance
We’re updating this so you can schedule out further.
We pushed an update a couple of days ago and the TrainerRoad web calendar now goes two years into the future. ![]()
Great, and thanks for the update!
Hey @Nate_Pearson - how is this progressing? I’m at the point of taking out the link as it clutters up my calendar and pings up alerts at odd times due to the ‘all day’ nature of the calendar entry. I like it but I really want to drag and drop the entry to my time slot so that I can plan my time better. Your product and attitude is exceptional, well done.
It’s still on the backlog, sorry.
Up late/early, or travelling? ![]()
Traveling. I’m in London.
Sorry about the ‘summer’ weather!
Shameless plug to my other post on calendar export enhancements
which I am sharing with the TrainerRoad community as of today.
I am having trouble with the calendar export feature to google calendar. When I press the google icon in trainerroad it takes me to my google calendar, but it does not upload my future workouts. Instead it says
“This web adresse is not connected to an active google calendar-account -URL-. Please check the web adresse and try again”
I hope someone can help me with my issue.
Kind regards

One suggestion to add to the calendar is to add weeks to go together to the week number. This could be helpful to know in hoy many weeks you have your event, you can always count them but could be a simple and helpful add on. @Nate_Pearson @Jonathan
Today I had to re-synchronized after the calendar link updated…
