I just got finished with an Olympic High Volume base plan. Did great! My FTP went from 224 to 237. Now I need to start a new block this week. The build phase high volume looks to just have 2 VO2 Max rides and two endurance rides. The Specialty phase has a mixture with some challenging threshold rides.
To me, it looks like the specialty phase would be more beneficial. But, I don’t know how to create training plans. What are your thoughts?
