Last week the plastic fan of my Saris H3 broke (cracked) on several places. Since spare parts are not available in Mali (Bamako) we managed to glue the cracked parts of the fan. It works again but with an unhealthy sound that does not promise a much longer lifespan.
I came to notice that getting spare parts from Saris (USA) is quite a challenge and costly affaire.
Now I am considering buying a 2nd hand Neo Smart T2800 during my next stay in the Netherlands. How is the longitivity of the Neo T2800? On the plus side absence of belt; fits in a suitecase; power autonomy and general good reviews. But the Saris only lasted 4 years (approx 600 hours). What about a Neo that has already more than 5 years, but according to the seller with little usage?
